A bit about me.

Hi and welcome!

I’m Rachel and I extend to you the warmest of welcomes to our sanctuary of healing and tranquillity.

Let me tell you a bit about my journey and what brought me to create The Wellness Studio Bondi.

Since I can remember I have been drawn to healing others, from the poorly little rabbit I made my father pick up from the forest to mend to health, or the “orange infused” water facials I insisted on giving my mother as a child, I have always been intuitively guided towards healing those around me.

My understanding of holistic healing started with my mother and her mountain of healing books that she would pull out whenever I or one of my siblings were unwell. She would always teach us about both Western and Eastern medicine, so much so, that it always felt normal to incorporate both into my life.

My own personal journey into holistic healing started when I studied beauty at 18. Since then, I’ve taken various courses, including both Level 1&2 Reiki with Wiebke Quiesser, Trauma Informed Teacher Trainings, Ayurvedic Medicine, Facial Reflexology, Gua Sha and European Facial Massage to name a few. I’ve always been fascinated by how gentle touch can help people relax, heal and find peace.

After over a decade of working in the corporate world, this feeling to heal and create a space for others to reset and restore their own well being never left. In 2019, I took a break from the corporate world and the bustle of Sydney life and ventured to Bali for a couple of months.

Although I had been practising Yoga since 2014, it was at this point, I really fell in love with yoga, meditation and breath work and the benefits these had on the mind, body and soul. It was through this realisation that I decided to train as a Yoga teacher.

On my return from Bali, I was fortunate enough to created a Corporate Wellness Program for the Australian section of my company, which was very well received. This experience made me realise not only the need for healing and well being in our current environment but also the pull healing others and holistic healing had on me.

Which lead me to this beautiful space.

I had been a long time student of Yogatime and Wiebke Quiesser’s and adored the space at 290 Bondi Road. As serendipitious as all aligned moments are, a transition came into fruition and I was fortunately enough to take over the beautiful healing space.

Outside of The Wellness studio Bondi, I love making Reiki-infused jewellery for my business, Rachel Stone Jewellery, and arranging flowers —something I learned from my grandparents.

My hopes are to create a space where people can come together to heal, find joy, have fun, find peace and rejuvenate - Away from the stresses of everyday life.

I’m really excited to share this space with you and to help you on your own journey to wellness and cannot wait to welcome to The Wellness Studio Bondi.
